AVAILABLE POSITION(S)

1. Executive/Senior Executive, Programmes (Media)

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Curate *SCAPEmedia programmes, such as film screenings, sharing sessions, workshop, masterclasses, industry trends and networking sessions
  • Manage event operations, perform on-site and off-site registration, track all database and generate reports
  • Forge partnerships and collaborate with media industry practitioners to advocate lifelong learning and promote the spirit of enterprise
  • Congregate media students and practitioners in the Media Hub, a co-working space for members in the media community to collaborate and exchange ideas
  • Organise the National Youth Film Awards

Knowledge and Experience

  • Degree/Diploma in any discipline
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience
  • Possess a keen interest and passion in youth development, particularly in filmmaking, photography and digital arts
  • People-oriented, with good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Team player with the ability to work independently
  • Able to work in the evenings or on weekends when required
  • Creative, meticulous, with good problem-solving skills
  • Results-oriented and able to work under pressure

2. Executive/Senior Executive, Programmes (Music)

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Cultivate, engage and develop young local aspiring musicians to build a vibrant community at *SCAPE
  • Facilitate youth participation by forging strategic partnerships and working with youth organisations, partners and relevant stakeholders at *SCAPE
  • Provide necessary administrative support and work with relevant parties to ensure effective communication and successful execution of *SCAPE programmes and initiatives
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor in timely and effective manner

Knowledge and Experience

  • Degree/Diploma in any discipline
  • Possess a keen interest and passion for youth development
    Knowledge of local music scene, understanding of the commercial music business and networks within the industry would be an advantage
  • People-oriented, with good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Team player with the ability to work independently
  • Able to work in the evenings or on weekends when required
  • Creative, meticulous, with good problem-solving skills
  • Results-oriented and able to work under pressure

3. Executive/Senior Executive, Programmes (Nodes)

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Conceptualise, propose and develop programmes in line with *SCAPE’s vision, mission and programming philosophy
  • Conceptualise and plan developmental programmes for youths
  • Assist, coordinate and organise Nodes community engagement programmes and events
  • Work closely with youths, institutional tenants, external vendors, industry stakeholders and partners to develop and organise programmes
  • Track and monitor programmes to ensure achievement of desired outcomes
  • Assist in other duties assigned by supervisor in timely and effective manner

4. Creative Designer, Marketing & Communications

To be a purveyor of youth culture.

A strategic and creative thinker, the incumbent will primarily look after *SCAPE’s visual communication messages and be able to translate key messages into effective touch-points for all constituents, in order to meet organisational strategies and objectives.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop strategic and tactical concepts and create visual designs and motion graphics for web, print and outdoor advertising spaces, e.g. brochures, posters, banners, advertisement, logos, etc
  • Oversee installation and assist with the production of outdoor media, collateral and gifts
  • Co-custodian on the use of the *SCAPE brand
  • Recruit, supervise, train and direct the work of interns/part-timers
  • Manage in-mall advertising spaces inventory
  • Any other task/projects as assigned

Knowledge and Experience

  • A Diploma/Bachelor in Visual Communications or Graphic/Media/Art-related disciplines
  • At least three years of relevant experience in similar position preferred
  • Experience in collateral/content production and larger format printing
  • Proficient in digital imaging/editing software i.e. Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro, etc
  • Good knowledge in communicating within the youth segment and have a keen interest in youth culture, including areas such as music, media, dance, personal development, entrepreneurship, retail, etc
  • Must be creative, self-motivated, resourceful, disciplined and able to work both independently and in teams.
    Possess excellent time management skills with ability to multi-task as and when required

5. Manager/Assistant Manager, Marketing & Communications

To be a purveyor of youth culture.

A strategic and creative thinker, the incumbent will look after a portfolio of *SCAPE programmes and initiatives, and develop the right messages, using a mix of traditional and new media as well as media relations, to meet organisational strategies and objectives.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Formulate and implement effective Marketing & Communications strategies for *SCAPE programmes and in-mall initiatives, including through-the-line advertising campaigns, media pitching, events/roadshows and other youth engagement initiatives
  • Conceptualise and develop editorial and video content for the organisation
  • Contribute to the full spectrum of public and media relations, including news monitoring, media & market research and community management
  • Copy writing for brochures, flyers, website, programmes, events and other collateral
  • Measure and analyse campaign effectiveness
  • Manage all digital assets, including updating of website, social media, sending e-mailers and implementing SEO/SEM strategies
  • Manage partnerships and sponsorship deals, where applicable
  • Manage and maintain inventory for marketing collateral, corporate gifts and premiums
  • Support other Marketing and Communications duties as assigned

Knowledge and Experience

  • A Diploma/Bachelor in Marketing or Communications-related disciplines
  • At least five years of relevant work experience in the Marketing & Communications field(s)
  • Experience in digital marketing and content production is mandatory
  • Good knowledge in communicating within the youth segment and have a keen interest in youth culture, including areas such as music, media, dance, personal development, entrepreneurship, retail, etc
  • Proficient in English language skills critical
  • Proficient in Adobe creative software advantageous
  • Creative and able to think out-of-the-box
  • Team player with the ability to work independently
  • Possess an outgoing disposition and excellent communication skills
  • Good project management and people management skills
  • Willingness to work weekends and occasionally adjust hours to accommodate needs of the job
