In its first edition, MOV:MENT will be featuring local and international dance films in its upcoming exhibition happening in December and as part of Singapore Art Week 2023.

This exhibition will also feature four dance film works incubated through MOV:MENT Lab.

[Open call for submission of dance films.] Selected works will be presented in the first edition of MOV:MENT exhibition from December and as part of Singapore Art Week 2023. We are looking for films with original concept that explores dance, movements, and cinematics. Submission of dance films will remain open till 28 October 2022.

Submission Period: 24 September 2022 – 28 October 2022
Exhibition Period: 12 December 2022 – 15 January 2023

Submission Requirements:

1. We accept all dance-based films of any genre and style.
2. Submission of dance-based film can be an existing or new work.
3. All dance-based films must be submitted via: bit.ly/movment-2022
4. All selected dance-based films, the relevant stills and trailers submitted may be used as publicity materials.
   1. Required items upon submission: 15 to 30 seconds trailer and 3 stills in PNG, DNG, TIFF format
5. Accepted file formats: MP4 or MOV
