🎉 Meet the Class of AMP 2026!

*SCAPE’s Aspiring Musicians Programme (AMP) is back for its 2026 iteration! Our artist mentees are on a 6-month mentorship journey from August 2026 to January 2027, culminating in a final showcase at COMMA 2027.

AMP 2026 aims to support the development of aspiring artists’ unique identities, artistry and on-the-ground experience – developing their talent into sustainable long-term careers in Singapore and beyond. 🌟

MEET OUR UP-AND-COMING MUSICIANS!

Aila
Aila is a Singapore-based indie pop singer-songwriter with a growing love for experimenting with pop rock and alternative influences. She started writing songs at 16, using music to make sense of the emotions and experiences she couldn’t always put into words. Most of her songs are written within the four walls of her bedroom, where honesty comes first. Her music is raw, personal, and written with the hope that anyone listening feels a little more understood and seen.

BRIDE

BRIDE is a group of 5 friends who happen to really love playing music. Drawing inspiration from bands like Radiohead and The Backseat Lovers, we want to build a soundscape that invites our audience to step inside the music with us and to love it as much as we do.

charms
Weaving charming melodies with lyrical intimacy, charms (Charlene Teo) is a Singaporean singer-songwriter known for her soothing voice and heartfelt writing. Inspired by the sounds of Beabadoobee, Lizzy McAlpine, and Role Model, charms writes indie pop songs exploring the complicated emotions of love and heartbreak. charms made her debut with the single “so far from you,” drawing from her own experiences and reflections on emotional distancing and the absence of reciprocation.

Gabby Goh
Gabrielle (Gabby Goh) is a 21-year old singer/songwriter from Singapore armed with a guitar, pen and an unassuming notebook of heartfelt songs. Inspired by the likes of unapologetically honest songwriters Taylor Swift, Lizzy McAlpine, Conan Gray and Olivia Rodrigo, she writes songs laced with drama, uncovering words often left unspoken. When she’s not writing songs at 3AM, Gabby is an active flautist who spent her developing years in Singapore’s vibrant Concert Band scene, where she grew up in concert halls and performances as she did with songwriting in her bedroom.

Jesse Lorenz
Jesse Lorenz is a singer-songwriter from Singapore who writes pop songs about love, life, and the little moments that stay with us. He loves telling stories through music and writing songs that people can see themselves in. When he’s not writing, you’ll probably find him busking around Singapore, posting song covers, or sharing new song ideas on social media.

NYX
NYX is a Singapore-based artist creating immersive indie pop, shoegaze and alternative rock that lives between reality and dreams. Starting out as a bedroom artist with an acoustic guitar, NYX discovered a passion for creating music that offers listeners a moment of escape. Influenced by artists such as Blush, Wisp, Slowdive and Softcult, each song blends ethereal vocals with textured guitars and emotional songwriting. At its heart, NYX’s music is about creating an original sound that invites listeners into a world of nostalgia and wonder.

slump
slump is a five-piece dreampop, post-punk band with songs recounting love, heartbreak, introspection catalysed through infectiously driven yet lush sonic soundscapes. since its inception in 2025, the band has released their debut single makeout on major streaming platforms.

Xin Ya
Xin Ya is a Singapore-based singer-songwriter whose music explores the quiet complexities of growing up, falling in love, and learning to be vulnerable. Through honest storytelling and intimate melodies, she writes songs that capture emotions that are often difficult to put into words. Whether performing live or sharing original music and covers online, Xin Ya hopes to create moments where listeners feel seen, understood, and a little less alone. Through AMP, she is excited to grow as both a songwriter and performer while continuing to discover her own artistic voice.
