Yay, the weekend is here once again! With no school or work, we might want to just laze around and snack all day, but staying at home will get boring after a while, don’t say we didn’t warn you! If you want to get out of the house and get some things done, we’ve got a list of activities at *SCAPE and all around Singapore for you to check out.

Have a look into the interior of countless HDB houses in Singapore documented by a group of three people. From traditional to modern homes, you can see how diverse and special each and every apartment is in Singapore. The 700-page book is also for sale if you want to bring them home!

Join in the month-long celebration at Pulau Ubin, where you can attend nature walks, experience kampong life, and try out camping at this little island. It’s a chance for you to get out of the technology-filled city to somewhere else where you can get in touch with nature.

Catch films from 27 European countries over two weeks, with feature films from Belgium, Netherlands, and Germany. Some short films by students from Ngee Ann Polytechnic’s School of Film and Media Studies will be screened as well.

SIDES 2017

Experience a triple bill of works presented by contemporary dance company Frontier Danceland, with works from Australia choreographer-composer duo Gabrielle Nankivell and Luke Smiles, and Taiwanese choreographer Tung I-Fen.

Celebrate the Indian Heritage Centre’s second anniversary and learn more about Indian culture with Indian masked dance, music and other performances. You’ll also be able to see a tapestry of stylised sarees adorning the place.
