Job Title System and Network Integrator
Duration 2 years contract (renewable)

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  1. IT Systems Integrator
  1. Serve as point-of-contact for DIT team in driving *SCAPE’s network of digital solution vendors and partners to desired effectiveness.
  2. Liaise between different stakeholders to assess and ensure implementation of designed integration operations that support delivery of IT services, IT applications and systems, telephony and cloud services, to both front and backend users.
  3. Main custodian of effective UI/UX for upcoming systems in consultation with the relevant functional units and third-party vendors.
  4. Ensure the necessary safeguards are put in place in protecting our data with the potentially numerous API-level integrations.
  5. Knowledge of ITIL framework for analysis and resolution of incidents and problems within defined processes is advantageous.

 

  1. Network Integrator
  1. Serve as point-of-contact for DIT team in building integration with incoming partners’ IT/digital infrastructure with focus on satisfactory front-end UX and backend data collection.
  2. Ensure the necessary safeguards are put in place in protecting our data with the potentially numerous API-level integrations.
  3. Configure, change, update, maintain, manage network and firewall configuration.
  4. Work with other contractors where required to deliver required network services.
  5. Interpretation of statistics and information of all network system and servers.

 

  1. Digital Transformation Support
  1. Ensure configuration, implementation, operation or support of requirement-specific and general IT systems in collaboration with other Service and Service providers
  2. Participate, advise and support the team in planning and execution of changes to the IT infrastructure and services where required
  3. Candidates with experience in supporting engagement programme delivery bridging Web 2.0 digital platforms into Web 3.0 applications will have an advantage.

 

  1. Others
  1. Conduct onboarding, workshop and awareness training for end users (where applicable)
  2. Manage IT procurement and services for hardware equipment, software, services and subscriptions for end user systems.
  3. Create, maintain, update and improve process, procedure and work instruction, user-guide, and technical documentation.
  4. Provide support for internal and external audit, compliance, governance, QMS, ITSM, and related work.
  5. Serve as primary Data Protection Officer for the organisation.

Requirements

  • Minimum degree in relevant areas of study.
  • At least 3 years of relevant and demonstrable experience in IT systems and network integration is required. Candidates with more relevant experience may be considered for the Manager role.
  • Cloud architecture (Apache, Kafka, ETL, Elastic computing, NAT gateway, SMTP, IMMIX, Sentinel, Webhook, Edis etc) and monitoring including understanding of performance alerts (Application monitoring, Host Monitoring and Event Monitoring).
  • Server hardware and IT Infrastructure and network equipment (Setup / Install / Configure / Troubleshooting / Maintenance).
  • DMBS like MSSQL, preferably with basic database administration hands-on.
  • Enterprise backup solutions like Veeam, Veritas Solutions Suites.
  • Virtualization such as VMware, MS-Hyper-V and related technology.
  • Common networking protocols and services like SMB, DHCP, DNS, SFTP/FTP, File & Print, VPN.
  • Operating enterprise routers/switches, firewalls, load balancers, domain name servers (DNS), bandwidth management system, and server/platform systems.
  • Network diagnosis and troubleshooting and be IPv6 trained with relevant hands-on experience.
  • Security governance, security operations and security technologies such as system hardening, IDS/IPS, firewall, monitoring, and incident management.
  • Document standard applications operating procedures, process and work instruction.
  • Certified Network Administrator – Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent is desirable
