[COMMA] Our Mother Tongue

Our Mother Tongue presents poems, lullabies and monologues in languages rarely heard on a Singapore stage – Baba Malay, Teochew, Tamil, Punjabi and Kristang. Each piece is performed in the original first. Then the translation appears in three layers: what the words mean, what they feel like, and what can’t be carried into English at all.
