[COMMA] Unnatural

Unnatural is an experimental performance that transforms a dancer’s body into a live instrumentc with the use of Embody, a dance-controlled digital musical interface with movement sensors developed by the artist, where physical gestures will generate and transform sound.

This interdisciplinary work challenges conventional cause-effect dynamics and the expected relationship between dance and music.

Forging an intentionally unnatural yet compelling dialogue between movement and sonic expression, dissolving the boundary between dancer and musician while showcasing dance as the driving force behind sonic creation.
