Join us for the first public workshop as part of AMP 2026, all about Songwriting & Arrangement!

With Tim De Cotta and guest speaker Paddy Ong from Club Mild, this workshop will dive into a soul-led approach on how make your audiences feel what you are writing, equipping you with the elements to always stay true to your heart and vision of the music.

During this session, there’ll also be hands-on practice time to hone your songwriting skills, you can apply ideas and tools learnt right away and get feedback from experienced mentors!

This workshop is part of the Aspiring Musicians’ Programme (AMP) at *SCAPE.

meet the mentors

paddy ong

Paddy Jonathan Ong is a singer and songwriter from Singapore. Together with his band Club Mild, he has performed at festivals like MIDI Shenzhen and Mumaland Music Festival in China, as well as other Asian showcase festivals like Bangkok Music Cities, Zandari Festa in Seoul and Tainan’s LUCFEST.

In 2018, the band won Young Artiste of the Year and Top Local English Pop Song for the track In Your Arms at the Composers & Authors Society of Singapore Awards.

tim de cotta

Tim De Cotta is a vocalist, bassist, songwriter and producer who believes in keeping his art pure. Styled in R&B and HipHop, Tim draws influences from artists such as Maxwell, John Legend, Anderson Paak, Common and Mos Def while styling his bass-playing after the likes of Derrick Hodge and Stuart Zender.
