Interested in trying the Hololens?
Calling all Artists keen on working and collaborating on interdisciplinary work. *SCAPE is offering 2 Hololens Introductory Workshops and the opportunity to present your works as part of Singapore Art Week 2023 as well as to collaborate with dance artists to create an interdisciplinary work.
Participants from the workshop can propose any artwork involving HoloLens, selected proposals will be mentored by Tusitala and HelloHolo.

- Saturday, 1 October | 2pm – 5pm
What is the Hololens: An ergonomic, untethered self-contained holographic device with enterprise-ready applications to increase user accuracy and output.
*SCAPE is inviting you, the youths, to explore and push the limit of the usage of the device to create interdisciplinary artworks.
As part of the workshop, participants are also required to submit a proposal on the artworks they are looking to create. Only a selected few will be supported to create the works.
Artists participating in this workshop are to come up with a proposal for an AR artwork to be submitted by 23 October. Shortlisted applicants will be informed and invited for a pitching session by 27 October.

Tusitala is a digital storytelling studio that reimagines the future of reading where tech meets art. We publish eBooks, produce and transmedia stories, and introduce storytellers to different technologies. Tusitala use their expertise in technology, UI, UX and design to transcend the traditional boundaries of print and digital.
Tusitala started in 2010 and is based in Singapore. It means “Teller of tales “ in Samoan. It was the nickname given to author Robert Louis Stevenson by the locals of Samoa, where he spent the last years of his life telling stories. Tusitala work embodies the essence of a storyteller: using different mediums and techniques to deliver a powerful message to audiences.
