Hepmil Creators’ Network is here to equip you with the right skills and knowledge to start your own TikTok journey, and grow to be a content creator! Join our team of experienced trainers and TikTok creators on a 3-day content creation masterclass and learn how to create great TikTok videos, accelerate your account growth and eventually monetise by working with brands. 

If you’re keen to learn more about TikTok, tap on its exploding growth and are considering content creation as a potential career (or side hustle), this masterclass is for you.  

Share with us your experience in content creation, your TikTok handle (if any) and your future plans after the course. We’ll select the most passionate creators to join us!

(Refundable with minimum 80% attendance and 3 video submissions)

Course Outcomes 

The course is very hands-on and you can expect to be out and about, filming and editing TikTok videos for most sessions. Each session will consist of a lesson/education portion with our trainers, followed by a hands-on activity where you will be split into groups to film TikTok videos. 

After the course, you will be equipped with the skills to grow your own TikTok account and potentially monetise your account as a content creator by working with brands to create branded content videos!

1. TikTok Basics    Understand TikTok and its algorithm, and learn how to establish a niche for your own account.  12 Mar, Sat

2. Monetisation   Learn about branded content – how to dissect a brief and answer a client’s objectives, as well as writing creative proposals.   12 Mar, Sat 

2pm – 5pm 

3. Scripting & Storytelling  Learn about storyboarding and scripting for short form TikTok videos to produce an effective and creative story.  19 Mar, Sat 

10am – 1pm 

4. Shooting Techniques  Learn about the various shooting techniques that are commonly used on TikTok and how to make your videos stand out with creative shots and angles.  19 Mar, Sat 

2pm – 5pm 

5. Video Editing  Learn about video editing techniques for TikTok and how to cut videos and how to address client feedback.  26 Mar, Sat 

10am – 1pm 

6. Assignment/Competition  Work on a brief from *SCAPE in groups and come up with at least 3 feasible ideas. Eventually film and edit 1 final video for submission and judging.  26 Mar, Sat 

2pm – 5pm

KEDY LIM

Kedy is a multifaceted creative specializing in Photography, Videography and Graphic Design. She enjoys taking on projects that challenge her creatively and inspires her purposefully.​

As a Multimedia Specialist under HCN, her role involves conceptualizing, shooting and editing all forms of media, and she has worked with a repertoire of clientele such as Disney, KFC and Samsung.

Chenlyn

CHENLYN TSHUA

Chenlyn is part of the Creator Partnerships team at HCN and leads development programs to help Creators grow their social channels and create new monetisation opportunities. She has held mass development workshops for creators, trained them for live hosting and spoke at various speaking engagements such as Today at Apple. ​

As a TikTok creator herself, she also enjoys creating relatable relationship comedy and lifestyle content on TikTok during her free time. 

Melissa

MELISSA LEE

As a Content Strategist at HCN, Melissa works on proposals for TikTok branded content by giving suggestions on how creators can improve their ideas creatively and to better fit each brief. She also works with the HCN creators directly to help them improve their account’s organic content and comes up with the content strategy for HCN’s TikTok page.​

Melissa is also a creator and loves to create kpop-related content on TikTok!

Jeevan

IAN JEEVAN

Jeevan is a financial consultant by trade, as well as a content creator. ​

TikTok for him started off as a hobby to pass time during lockdown, but he soon realised that he enjoys creating comedic, relatable bilingual content which brings joy to his audience. He currently has over a 150,000 followers across Instagram and TikTok.

Shu Qin ER SHU QIN

Shu feels happiest when she’s travelling and exploring somewhere new. On weekdays, she writes for one of the world’s largest travel brands. On weekends, she heads out in search of unique places in Singapore (and hopefully soon, the world!)—and she shares her best recs on TikTok.
