PsychoSpiritual Life Coach & Multidimensional Healer
Segment 2: Answering the Call to Timor: A Life-changing Expedition

Janel was living a life that was a dream to many—she was granted an expat position & attained multiple awards in her creative & marketing career.

While social media portrayed what seemed like an amazing & privileged life travelling often, her peers could not tell that behind all of that, were very challenging third world struggles & a drastic shift in cultural livelihood which she had to carefully navigate when she moved to East Timor in 2017 to 2018.

In that span of approximately 2 years, she has witnessed the unsettling effects of political unrest—government cars & local homes being set on fire, her partner was caught in the middle of a crossfire gun fight & she suffered from food poisoning 4 times; the last one being so potent that it took her months to recover from a local parasite infection that reduced her weight to 37kg.

With all that she has undergone, it is through answering her soul’s calling to head to East Timor despite the potential risks that brought her a sacred gift of complete life transformation—one that initiated her to rediscover her purpose and reconnect to her true authenticity & meaning of life.

She is now a thriving fully self-employed Soulprenuer 4 years now as a PsychoSpiritual Life Coach & Multidimensional Healer.

Janel is going to share with us her life-changing story from her East Timor chapter and the power of letting your inner compass & courage guide you to achieving the life of your dreams.

Storytelling Coach and the Creator and Host of What’s Your Story Slam
Segment 3: “I did not think this through” — the Joy of Uncertainty

Anna has always been one to crunch the numbers. When picking a business school, she did a valuation on the net present value of each one, selecting the school that gave her the highest ROI. The degree? Check. A high-paying job in Banking? Check. The lifestyle she always wanted? Check.

But then, she impulsively quit her job to travel and dance, returning two years later with a new career in comedy. Since leaving her corporate world, Anna has embarked on solo adventures to South America, finding herself at Pablo Escobar’s Cathedral in Colombia, climbing mountains in Patagonia, visiting the Lost City of Colombia like Indiana Jones, and climbing pyramids in Mexico.

She picked up Spanish in Medellin, Colombia, and learned tango in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Now, Anna’s a Storytelling Coach and the creator and host of What’s Your Story Slam. She’s here to share with us the Joy of Uncertainty, guiding us through powerful storytelling activities to help us discover the unique paths we each have, all with a touch of humour and a taste of adventure.
