After the auditions

21 March 2020 – 13 April 2020

Upon the completion of auditions, audition videos will be uploaded onto *SCAPE YouTube Channel for online voting of the most popular audition video (counted by the most number of “likes”). The trainee with the most popular audition video will have his/her fee for participating in the masterclass programme fully supported by *SCAPE.

Concurrently, multiple South Korean agencies (n.CH Entertainment, Evermore Music, Jay Kim, etc.) will be shortlisting and ranking of auditionees. They will be looking out for stage presence, passion, presentation, dance technique etc.

Online voting and shortlisting of all auditionees
Online voting period: 28 March 2020, 1000 hours – 13 April 2020, 1000 hours

• Audition videos recorded by *SCAPE and online submission will be uploaded to *SCAPE YouTube channel for online voting and shortlisting purposes by 28 March 2020, prescheduled at 1000 hours.
• Audition videos will be reviewed by South Korean agencies and Jay Kim for shortlisting and
  ranking of auditionees.

Mechanics for online voting:

• Online voting will begin on 28 March 2020, 1000 hours till 13 April 2020, 1000 hours.
• Number of likes will be confirmed based on *SCAPE’s YouTube analytics after the online voting period ends.
• One auditionee with the most likes will join the K-Pop Trainee Masterclass with participation fee fully supported by *SCAPE.

After online voting and ranking

Upon receiving the ranking list from the South Korean agencies, results of the auditions will be sent starting 13 April 2020, 1400 hours, via email, hence please check your junk mail too. *SCAPE’s decision is final.

If you are not contacted by *SCAPEdance before 22 April 2020, it is safe to assume to that you have not been selected for the masterclass programme.

Conditions of offer:

• *SCAPEdance will be sending out offer letters to successful individuals via email.
• Auditionees that are offered will have 48 hours to accept the offer, starting from the time stamp of the email sent.
• Any response over 48 hours will not be considered and the vacancy will be opened to the next deserving auditionee.

How to secure the offer:

• Respond to the offer via email.
• Submission of signed documents (via email dance@scape.sg, scan or drop off signed copies outside *SCAPE management office), namely:
  • Contract
  • Terms and conditions
  • Parental consent (for anyone under 18)
  • Travel authorisation (for anyone under 18)
  • Medical declaration (history of injuries, allergies of any)
• Payment made in full within 48 hours of acceptance. Any payment collected will not be refunded in any circumstances.

Upon completion and confirmation of the above, *SCAPEdance will send out an acknowledgement email.

Individual who has the most likes on YouTube will be joining the K-Pop Trainee Masterclass with participation fee fully supported by *SCAPE and will be contacted separately during this period.

Cost per participant and coverage?
The cost per Singaporean and PR participant is S$2, 800.
The cost per foreigner is S$3,400.

The costs will cover:

• Accommodation and meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) during the trip
• Airport transfer from Incheon International airport to and back from GKC
• All workshops and classes held at GKC in South Korea
• Airfare to and from Singapore to South Korea
• Travel insurance

Pre-trip Briefing

A pre-trip briefing will be conducted for individuals who has successfully secured a spot and paid in full to allow for sufficient time to prepare for the programme.
