*SCAPE is an organisation that supports the development of Singaporean youths. The organisation aims to motivate and empower youths to realise their potential, and seeks to be the home of enterprising youths committed to creating their own future.
Last month, we held a “Spotlight on Youth” on our social media for new startup, artist, filmmaker, dancer, podcaster or any youth that excels in other field to be featured on our website. The aim is to support and give our youths a platform to shine and grow.

Sasha M Singer-Songwriter Sasha M burst onto the local music scene in 2018 with her singer-songwriter showcase at the Esplanade’s Voices Originals, bringing a unique brand of fun and her trademark sassy attitude. Her first solo release, ‘Loaded’ with Hasso, hit #2 on the Spotify Germany Viral 50 charts, topped only by the winner of Eurovision that year. She has since released several of her own singles and duets, to rave reviews. ‘Tangled’, ‘Friends’ and ‘No Sorries’ are her upbeat bangers, followed by the more vulnerable and emotional duets ‘Glass Shard’ and ‘Beneath the Surface’. Sasha’s mission is to entertain and empower her listeners by spreading positive messages and making insightful observations on society as she experiences it. Her draw lies in her unique perspective as a young adult Asian female in a globalised world. Her lyrics touch on themes of friendship, relationships, and mental health. An avid performer, Sasha’s influences include Dua Lipa, Bebe Rexha, Anne-Marie and Jennifer Lopez. She works with producers and songwriters in Los Angeles, London and other cities to find her modern dance pop sound. Daryl Lin Daryl Studios Live Sessions Daryl Lin, 16, has been interested in singing since he was young. The Covid-19 Circuit Breaker period gave him more opportunity to explore and expand his interest. He had the opportunities to learn singing techniques as well as learn how to record covers with the right audio equipment. It was a tough journey for him as he had limited resources and money. However, with much determination and support from his family and friends, he did achieved his goals. Now, he has his own studio and host Daryl Studios Livestream sessions, previously known as Sing Along with Daryl. Daryl do song covers and podcast regularly. Do give his covers a listen! Teo Wei Hong Bryan
Bryan, 19, has been interested in drawing since he was 12 years old. His dream is to create a comic book of his own and to be able to tell his own stories through drawings/comic books. He wants to be able to sell his drawings and comic books one day. Apart from drawing, he also has a passion in playing Yo-yo. He competed in Singapore Yoyo Championship and Asia Pacific Yoyo Championship. He was featured on Strait Times in 2019. He has been practicing yoyo techniques and he will be participating in upcoming Yoyo Online Worlds Contest 2021.
