After weeks of toiling, the top 10 podcasts of the Podcast Competition+ have been revealed. From discussing the latest K-Dramas to Triple Murders in Yishun, these podcasts cover a wide range of topics! Here are some of the many things I learnt from them.

  1. Self esteem is not equal to self worth. Self-esteem is how you think, feel, and believe about yourself. Self-worth is knowing that you are lovable and valuable, and is defined as the level of importance you place on yourself.
  2. Remember that you’re not alone and just like you, others face problems too 
  3. Helping others can help you. When you feel down, try volunteering.

  1. Back in the early 2000s, there were Neoprint booths, known as, “Purikura”. They functioned like a photo booth, which made your photos into stickers you could keep
  2. These machines were hard to use. Instructions were in Japanese and had a time limit. (It’s expensive too, 2 cards cost $8)
  3. Youth back then would collect Neoprint stickers and put them in albums
